Frequently asked questions
Microsoft 365 or OVH: which one should I choose?
OVH e-mail is enough for one or two simple mailboxes, at a few euros a month. As soon as you have a team, Microsoft 365 brings shared calendars, Teams, OneDrive and much better security, for about €6 excl. VAT per user per month. We advise you during the discovery call, with no commission on licences.
Who owns the domain name?
You do. We register or transfer it in your company's name, and you receive the registrar access. If a former provider holds it, we help you get it back.
Can I use this address with my team?
Yes, that is the point. Every employee gets their address, you add shared addresses (contact@, billing@) and, with Microsoft 365, you get shared calendars, Teams for internal communication and OneDrive for files.
Will I lose e-mails during the migration?
No. We migrate existing e-mails, contacts and calendars before switching the DNS records, then test sending and receiving. The old mailbox stays accessible while you check.
What does the price include?
The complete set-up: domain, DNS, mailbox creation, migration, security, device configuration and handover. The domain name (around ten euros a year) and the licences are paid by you directly to OVH or Microsoft, in your name.
How long does it take?
A domain you already own and a few mailboxes: 2 to 3 business days. With a domain registration or transfer and a migration: one to two weeks, allowing for transfer delays and DNS propagation.
